Hi, I'm Samantha, owner and creator of Besom Boutique.
Besom was born from the desire to create a space full of self-expression as I went on a journey to find myself again. I wanted to create a place that was mystical, magical, and accepting of all, while also bringing and creating products that felt like me.
The idea came from one of my business classes in graduate school, where we were asked to create a business where we would want to shop. I had often struggled when shopping to only find one or two items in each store that felt like me and felt like how I wanted to show the world who I am. Accessories have always been something I loved and ways I made my outfits unique and personal to me. Throughout the project, I fell in love with my shop and decided that I wanted to make it a reality.
2026 will be Besom's 5th full year in business and 5th year of being a traveling boutique and I would have never imaginged this is where we would be! I travel all over the Midwest bringing my creations to you. I have my own exclusive line of designer handbags based on pop-culture witches, with many more in the works! I also hand-make over 70% of our shop now and have found such a passion for creating unique small batches of items. We also have items in a local shop in Milwaukee and are constantly looking at ways to grow and bring you more!
At Besom, we believe in self-expression and authenticity above all else. We have a focus on quality and consistency, as well as bringing in curated items from ethical sources. We focus on both quality and affordability so that we can bring you items that will last. We also believe in building a community based on inclusivity, safety, and human rights for all. We want you to feel safe and valued to express yourself through what you wear and understand that it is a form of magic to be authentically you.
Besom Boutique is currently run by a team of one (me), and I am enjoying every moment of getting to connect with so many amazing people through what I do. Please know that I am so thankful for every order, every business card taken, and every website visit.
